Crafty Cardmakers 25

Here is my design team card for Crafty Cardmakers Challenge number 25.

CCM 12-06-10 Main Heart

It was created from a photo recipe and I took my inspiration from both the colours and the theme of the photo.

image

The image is a combination of Stampavie's A kiss for ChloƩ which I stamped first, masked and then stamped Magnolia's Love Hearts and Banner. Coloured with my prismas and OMS, apart from the skin which I did with promarkers. Background papers - Nitwit's Joyful Hearts Digikit, and Basic Grey's Kioshi, and the borders are made with a MS punch. Little bit of ribbon, and a heart embellishment for the middle and two decorative filigree metal corners to finish it off. No flowers again. I must be cured, lol. Until the next time!!!

We are sponsored by the lovely Joanna Sheen so please pop on over and join in the fun, I look forward to seeing your creations, as do all the team. Who knows you might win something nice!

I am also entering my card into a few challenges.

The ABC Challenge Blog – Y is for You and Me - So anything with two images as in this cute stamp.

Stampavie and More – Something sparkling – as in the little twinkly hearts which were the waste from when I punched the borders, stuck down and covered in Cosmic Shimmer glitters.

Allsorts Challenge Blog – a heart on your image – mine is littered with them!

Order of the Opus Gluei – something that will make someone smile – who doesn’t love love, who doesn’t smile when they see a couple wrapped up in each other’s world, even if they are only 10 years old like my little ones!

Aly’s Sunday Challenge – red, white or blue – I obviously chose blue

and last but by no means least

Little Red Wagon – Nestabilities - My lovely boy and girl have been cut out with a the nestie octagon and matted onto the nestie scalloped octagon. Where would be be without nesties!

I hope you will find the time to come on over to CCM and check out the other DT cards and leave us a message if you will.

I have to say I am absolutely loving being a member of this very talented Design Team, it has given me a real boost and put a spring in my step, so thank you Vix!

  7. Yes, this made me smile - not because it is funny but it is sweet and sentimental - and I LOVE sentimental big time. Beautifully done and such soft colors. Thank you for taking time to participate with us at Opus Gluei!
